Football Coaching – Term Time

Our Coaching Ethos

Harrow Games is very proud to have built a reputation as a club that embraces diversity and is committed to coaching children of all ages, standards and abilities.

We recognise that football brings children together in the playground and our mission is to inspire children to develop a love of the game at an early age, leading to a lifetime of enjoyment and involvement in team play.

Little Shooters

Starting with our very youngest age group ‘Little Shooters’ (nursery and reception) we introduce football to those taking up coaching for the very first time.

Our term time coaching for children from Y1 to Y7 provides the opportunity for players to learn the game, improve their skills and technique and to gain the confidence to enjoy football at school and with their friends.

All our sessions are structured, disciplined and have a clear learning topic, where our FA licensed coaches are great role models, developing positive relationships with both children and parents alike, promoting good sportsmanship and respect for others.

Harrow United FC

harrow_united_badgeThe most advanced of our players, who show the right attitude and commitment are invited to trial for our Sunday league teams (Harrow United FC). If successful, these players attend additional squad training sessions each week and attend matches on Sundays and tournaments over the summer. These sessions are led by the team coaches, are more challenging, technical and focused on preparing for match day.

Our Sunday league teams Harrow United FC, have quickly built a reputation of playing progressive, possession and winning football, resulting in the club forming strong links with scouts and academies of local professional football clubs such as QPR and Tottenham Hotspur. Any player who shows outstanding potential is provided with the platform to impress and hopefully continue their football journey at the highest level.

Our Venues & Coaches

We coach at excellent venues, on 3G and 4G pitches. This enables us to train and play matches on a perfect surface all year round regardless of the weather; it is just like playing on real grass but without the mud. Our coaches are all licensed, CRB checked and trained in safeguarding children and emergency first aid.
